Needs Analysis

In my position at The Salvation Army I am responsible for training users of a website updating program. The program webmanager 3.0 was created by our international IT department to allow users of various levels to update their webpages. 

I realized before training these individuals about updating the website, I need to gain an understanding of their knowledge concerning the internet. There is a need for the users to have a basic understanding of how websites work. The usage of images, the layout of text, the restrictions of html.

With the use of the Audience Analysis, I should be able to create instruction that addresses the needs of the users.
